For all those who have been associated with and enjoyed Gander Brook for years, we all know how much the camp has meant to kids and adults alike. But now Gander Brook has a challenge before it; our dorm needs serious attention. A new building would cost $750K+, so instead we will need to completely overhaul it—at the cost of about $450k. At this point $225K has been pledged, but most of it is a matching gift requiring camp to raise $75K. Now we need help especially from the churches and Christians of New England. One-time gifts are appreciated, but a monthly pledge from now through Dec. 31, 2018 may be more manageable. Please consider helping us. If you’d like to help, go to www.ganderbrook.org/retreat-house.
- Be as generous as you can—$350,000 is a long way to go
- Tell other Gander Brookers about our challenge and need and encourage them to give
- Consider organizing a fundraiser in your own congregation
We hope to soon have a PayPal feature that will enable you to specify the new dorm. Until then, you could send checks to our treasurer, Bill Jenczyk, at PO Box 1423, Littleton MA 01460. Earmark your check for the new dorm. And of course, if you send something in before December 31, you get a tax write off for 2016.
Gander Brook has helped you—it’s helped us all. Here’s your chance to help Gander Brook continue its ministry to young people and the churches of Christ in New England.
