2011 Camping Season:
- Weeks 1-4 are for anyone who is 8 to 18 years old. Weeks 5 and 6 are only for those who are between 14 and 18. To attend the Junior weeks, the young camper must turn eight years of age by the start of school in the fall. To attend Senior weeks a camper must be at least 14 or turn 14 no later than September 30th. Please honor our request.
- When all is filled out, get it back in the mail quickly. Early bird discount is $10 off on full payments postmarked by June 13th. Note: All merit badge selections will be order of receipt of registration packets. So please register early.
- Why not get a friend to sign up and come to camp with you. Let’s see if we can fill every single week this summer! THERE IS A SPECIAL INCENTIVE TO RECRUIT A FRIEND. There will be $30 discount to any camper who brings a new camper (never been to Gander Brook) to camp. This $30 discount could be applied in one of two ways: (1) $30 off the camper fee, or (2) $5 applied to canteen and $25 applied to camper fee. This discount does not apply to a sibling brought to camp. You can accumulate as many discounts as you can up to a full campership valued at $280. So recruit one and save $30, recruit two and save $60, recruit 3 and save $90, etc.
- Any questions, give us a call at 603-623-5559.
- A note to our staff members taking advantage of the $30.00 discount. Every year there is confusion about fees and discounts for staff members volunteering at Gander Brook during the summer. Please note the following:
- The discount is only good for YOUR children who are attending the same week(s) you are serving. If your child is staying longer than you are, you will have to follow the regular fee schedule. See the registration card for details.
- You may only take advantage of TWO discounts; the staff discount and the 2nd family member discount. You may NOT use the early bird discount. You may NOT combine the staff and early bird discounts. If you have questions, please call us.

- Gander Brook Canoe Trip 2011: The schedule for the 2011 canoe trip is a bit different than in years past. The change has been made to reduce the camping time lost from senior weeks by those on the trip. Canoe trip campers will need to arrive at camp on Tuesday, July 26 before 2pm. This is during 4th week and it is not necessary for campers to be enrolled in 4th week to go on the trip. Canoe kids will be with John Morrish as soon as they arrive on 7/26 and will begin the process of packing the gear for the trip. On Wednesday, 7/27 we plan to leave on the trip by 7am. The canoe trip will last from Wed 7/27 through Fri 7/29 by 9pm. On Sat 7/30 the campers on the trip will assist in putting the gear away in the morning and can then enroll in the 5th week session and be in the camping program after lunch that day. There is a $50 additional charge for the canoe trip and all participants will receive a list of items to bring on the trip. Any questions or to preregister for the trip please contact: John Morrish 508-584-2540 or Morrishdad@aol.com.
- Although NO PROMISES can be made, please put any special request or concerns in writing.
